Cooking Instructions
Preparation Time: 15 min | Cooking Time: 20-30 min | Servings: 6-8
- Filling:
Mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice with 2 tablespoons of National Achar Gosht Recipe Mix. Stuff 8-10 large green chilies, split lengthwise. - Frying:
In half a cup of hot oil, add 1 kg meat, the remaining Achar Gosht Recipe Mix, and 2 tablespoons of ginger and garlic paste. Stir well, then add 500g of beaten yogurt and sauté on high heat for 3-4 minutes. - Cooking:
Add water (1 cup for chicken, 2 cups for beef/mutton). Cover and cook on low heat until the meat is tender. Separately, heat the remaining oil and cook 500g of tomato puree for 2-3 minutes. - Frying:
Add the tomato puree to the cooked meat. Fry on medium heat for 5-6 minutes while stirring continuously. Then, add the green chilies and simmer until the oil separates. - Serving:
Serve hot with naan or chapati.
