Cooking Instructions
Preparation Time: 15 min | Cooking Time: 20-30 min | Servings: 6-8
You Will Need:
- Chicken: 1 kg
- Onion (medium, thinly sliced): 2 (125 g)
- Yogurt (beaten): Ā¾ cup (150 g)
- Garlic (paste): 1 tbsp
- Ginger (paste): 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves (finely chopped): 2 tbsp
- Oil/Ghee: 1 cup (200 ml)
- National Chicken Masala (Murghi) Spice Mix: 1 packet
Method:
- Fry:
Heat the oil or ghee and fry onions until light brown. Add the meat, ginger, garlic, yogurt, and National Chicken Masala Spice Mix. Fry on medium heat for 5-10 minutes. - Cook:
Add 1 cup of water and cook on low heat until the meat is tender and the oil rises to the top. After frying for a few minutes, add 1-2 cups of water and simmer for 10 minutes. - Serve:
Delicious Chicken Masala (Murghi) is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with naan, taftan, or chapati.
