Steps of Cooking Pasanda
- Fry Onions:
- Fry 4 medium-sized onions (250g) in hot ghee/oil until golden.
- Remove from the oil, place on absorbent paper, and allow to cool. Crush coarsely.
- Prepare the Meat:
- Take 1kg of beef/chicken/mutton fillets.
- Apply Shan Pasanda Masala Mix, yogurt (1-1½ cups/250g), fried onions, garlic (1 tablespoon), and ginger paste (1 tablespoon) on the meat.
- Marinate for 1-2 hours.
- Cook:
- Heat 1 cup (175ml) of ghee/oil and add the marinated fillets along with the masala.
- Cook on low heat until the meat is tender. Add water if required.
Serving Suggestion: Serve Pasanda with naan or roti.
Pasanda Kabab Rolls Recipe
- Additional Ingredients Needed:
- Raw Papaya (with skin): ½ cup, ground
- Green Chilies: 4-6, chopped
- Tomatoes: 2, diced
- Green Coriander: 1 cup, chopped
- Mint: ½ cup, chopped
- Preparation Steps:
- Mix garlic, ginger, raw papaya, yogurt, and Shan Pasanda Masala Mix and apply to the fillets. Leave for 1 hour.
- Prepare green masala with chopped onions (2), green chilies, coriander, mint, and tomatoes.
- Cooking:
- Place green masala filling on flattened fillets. Roll the meat and secure it with a toothpick or thread.
- Shallow fry in hot oil until golden on all sides.
