Steps of Cooking Pasanda

  1. Fry Onions:
    • Fry 4 medium-sized onions (250g) in hot ghee/oil until golden.
    • Remove from the oil, place on absorbent paper, and allow to cool. Crush coarsely.
  2. Prepare the Meat:
    • Take 1kg of beef/chicken/mutton fillets.
    • Apply Shan Pasanda Masala Mix, yogurt (1-1½ cups/250g), fried onions, garlic (1 tablespoon), and ginger paste (1 tablespoon) on the meat.
    • Marinate for 1-2 hours.
  3. Cook:
    • Heat 1 cup (175ml) of ghee/oil and add the marinated fillets along with the masala.
    • Cook on low heat until the meat is tender. Add water if required.

Serving Suggestion: Serve Pasanda with naan or roti.


Pasanda Kabab Rolls Recipe

  1. Additional Ingredients Needed:
    • Raw Papaya (with skin): ½ cup, ground
    • Green Chilies: 4-6, chopped
    • Tomatoes: 2, diced
    • Green Coriander: 1 cup, chopped
    • Mint: ½ cup, chopped
  2. Preparation Steps:
    • Mix garlic, ginger, raw papaya, yogurt, and Shan Pasanda Masala Mix and apply to the fillets. Leave for 1 hour.
    • Prepare green masala with chopped onions (2), green chilies, coriander, mint, and tomatoes.
  3. Cooking:
    • Place green masala filling on flattened fillets. Roll the meat and secure it with a toothpick or thread.
    • Shallow fry in hot oil until golden on all sides.
