How to Use
Ingredients Required:
- Main Ingredients:
1 kg Green Mangoes (or Mixed Vegetables), washed, dried, and sliced. - For Mixing:
1 cup White Vinegar. - For Cooking:
2 cups (350ml) Preheated and Cooled Oil or Mustard Oil. - Seasoning:
1 packet Shan Achar Masala Mix.
Steps to Prepare:
- Combine 1 cup water, white vinegar, Shan Achar Masala Mix, and green mangoes/mixed vegetables. Boil on low heat until they are half tender, forming a thick masala paste.
- Add oil and cook on low heat until the oil becomes hot (but does not boil). Stir frequently.
- Remove from heat, let cool, and preserve in sterilized jars.
- Allow the pickle to rest for a few days before serving.
Additional Tips:
- Mango Selection: Use raw green mangoes with a firm texture.
- Preservation: Wash jars, utensils, and hands thoroughly before use.
